This page has been rebuilt from scratch for 2026. The previous version had no dates in it at all, and several of its claims turned out to be wrong once I actually checked them, so I have corrected those in place rather than quietly deleting them. Where a band’s own website contradicts something we used to print, I have gone with the band.
I played in a tribute act before Tom Scholz recruited me into the real BOSTON, and I sang lead on a number one classic rock single. Thirty years of that is why I care whether the harmonies actually land, and why I will not repeat a booking claim I cannot stand behind.
How we ranked them
Fleetwood Mac is a harmony band pretending to be a rock band. Three distinct lead voices, and the whole thing collapses if any one of them is a weak link. Most tributes get Stevie right and Christine wrong, because Christine’s parts are lower, plainer and much harder to make interesting.
So the ranking weighs four things. Verified 2026 touring, counted off venue calendars rather than press kits. Whether all three lead voices are covered properly. Real endorsements from people connected to the actual band, which in this category means Mick Fleetwood, Bob Brunning or Richard Dashut, and which are rarer than the marketing copy suggests. And whether the act plays live without backing tracks. Where a claim could not be sourced, it is not on this page.
1. Rumours of Fleetwood Mac
Formed in Liverpool in 1999, so twenty seven years in, and nothing else in this category is close on scale. They have 87 concerts on the books across the UK, Norway, the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Denmark, plus a 2027 European run already on sale that includes Salle Pleyel in Paris on May 2 and a billed 50th anniversary show in Antwerp.
The endorsement is the part that settles it. Mick Fleetwood called the show “an extraordinary emotive performance of Fleetwood Mac,” and he recorded a video endorsement that plays before the band comes on. That quote is carried by Cadogan Hall and the Florida Theatre on their own pages, not just by the band, which is the test I apply to any endorsement claim. Their 2026 dates include three nights at Cadogan Hall in London from May 28, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on September 12, the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville on October 16 and the Louisville Palace on October 25. Their channel is closing on 140 million views.
2. Tusk
Correcting something this page had wrong for years: Tusk is not four decades old. They formed in 2008, which makes them eighteen, and their own site says so in the header. The four decades line refers to how long the five members have known each other. Two of them met playing Little League and two were in the same middle school band, which is a better story than the one we were telling anyway.
Out of Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, and the same five people since the first rehearsal: Kathy Phillips, Scott McDonald, Kim Williams, Randy Artiglere and Tom Nelson. Eighteen years with no lineup changes is close to unheard of. They are the busiest American act in this category with 39 dates running August 1 to November 6, 2026, across seventeen states, including the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee on August 1, the Ohio State Fair on August 6, the Indiana State Fair on August 8, Memorial Hall in Cincinnati on August 14, the Tobin Center in San Antonio on August 27 and the Balboa Theatre in San Diego on November 1. One caution for buyers: there is a separate Australian band also called Tusk, playing pubs around Melbourne, and the ticket aggregators merge the two.
3. Rumours ATL
Atlanta, formed 2014, and now a six piece led by Adrienne Cottrell and Sami Michelsen on vocals with John Spiegel on lead guitar. They run 35 dates across 30 cities between May 15 and November 22, 2026, including the Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia on September 19, Sony Hall in New York on July 2, the Orange Peel in Asheville on November 6 and Hendricks Live in Plainfield, Indiana on November 14.
Another correction while I am here. This page used to say they were invited to play a week in the Netherlands in 2019, and I could not find a single Dutch venue, festival or review to support it. What they have actually done is better documented and more impressive: Patronaat in Haarlem and De Oosterpoort in Groningen in 2023, Gebouw-T in 2024, then Maastricht, Eindhoven and two sold out nights at the Live At Amsterdamse Bos festival in May 2025. An American tribute act selling out a Dutch festival twice is worth saying accurately.
4. Fleetwood Mask
New to this list, and I am slightly embarrassed it was not here already, because they are based about ten minutes from my office in the East Bay. Fleetwood Mask is the only Fleetwood Mac tribute in the Americas endorsed by Mick Fleetwood, who said on camera: “This band does it right. I’m proud to know the music of Fleetwood Mac is in good hands indeed.” A local newspaper covered it and the Tower Theatre bills them on that endorsement, so it is not just band copy.
What makes them unusual is the setlist options. You can book them to replicate the 1980 Tusk tour, the 1982 Mirage tour or The Dance from 1997, and at many shows they play using original touring equipment owned and used by Fleetwood Mac. Their 2026 run includes three consecutive nights at Filoli in Woodside from August 14, the Chrome Showroom at Santa Fe Station in Las Vegas on August 22, and Ironstone Amphitheatre in Murphys on September 19. They are regulars at the Mystic Theatre, Sweetwater Music Hall and the Crest in Sacramento.
5. Mirage
Billed in full as Mirage: Visions of Fleetwood Mac, out of Los Angeles, and built around Michelle Tyler in the Stevie Nicks role. Tyler played Nicks across two seasons of the AXS TV series The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands, which is a television credit rather than an endorsement from anyone in Fleetwood Mac, and I want to be clear about the difference because a lot of pages blur it.
They are genuinely international this year. Twenty four upcoming dates, headlined by the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley on August 7, then a 22 date German tour from October 30 to November 29 taking in Halle Munsterland, Das Wormser in Worms and the Nikolaisaal in Potsdam. The German promoter is billing it as the first time the show has been seen there. Two corrections to what this page used to say: they are a six piece, not eight, and I can find no source anywhere for the claim that they play vintage instruments, so I have dropped it.
6. Twisted Gypsy
Six core members out of Ventura and Santa Clarita, with alternates, fronted by Niki Bente as Stevie Nicks. They are one of the hardest working acts in California, with 21 dates from August through December 2026 and three more already in 2027, including Thornton Winery in Temecula on September 11, the Scherr Theatre in Thousand Oaks on September 18, Bakersfield Music Hall of Fame on October 8 and Fantasy Springs in Indio on October 17. They also headlined the OC Fair.
We used to say they toured the US and Europe. Their own past shows page lists California, New York, Texas and Arizona and nothing outside the country, and every one of those 21 upcoming dates is in California or Nevada. So they are a Southern California act with a casino and fair circuit, which is a good thing to be, and I would rather describe it correctly.
7. Fleetwood Macrame
A San Francisco Bay Area five piece formed in 2016, and KQED made the point about them that I would make too: they are not a mimicry act. Linda Moody sings Stevie without impersonating her, and the band plays the songs rather than the costumes. Two of the roles have changed hands since that 2019 KQED piece, so the current lineup is Moody, Jai Bird, Tori Fulkerson-Jones, Owen Adair Kelley and Lindsay Everly.
They work constantly around Northern California. In 2026 they have played the Golden State Theatre in Monterey in March, Rio Nido Roadhouse in June, The Chapel in San Francisco in June, the Marin County Fair on July 4 and Rancho Nicasio in August, with the Crystal Bay Club in Nevada on August 14, Goldfield in Roseville on September 25 and HopMonk Sebastopol on October 3 still to come. Great American Music Hall and Bimbo’s 365 are both on their history.
8. Tell Me Lies
A seven piece from Charlotte, performing since 2022, and they started almost by accident. They were an ordinary cover band until their booking agent watched them open for Plain White T’s and told them they should be doing Fleetwood Mac. He was right.
Two lead vocalists, Rachel Francis and Elizabeth Jones, covering the Stevie and Christine parts properly, and the band is explicit about no backing tracks and no wigs. I have a lot of time for that. Their 2026 run includes the hometown Amp Ballantyne show in Charlotte on August 7, two nights at the Uptown Knauer Performing Arts Center in West Chester on August 21 and 22, Greenfield Lake Amphitheater in Wilmington on August 29 and the Knitting Factory in Boise on September 4, with the Ludlow Garage in Cincinnati already booked for January 2027. When they played the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley’s garden series in Winchester, it was the first show in that series ever to sell out.
9. Gypsy Dreams
A Los Angeles five piece that grew out of the band Gypsy, built around Lisa McCormick in the Stevie Nicks role, with Sally Zito on Christine and Logan Shrewsbury on drums. Every venue claim we used to make about them checked out, which is more than I can say for some entries here.
They played Sunset Station in Henderson, Nevada in February 2022, the Granbury Opera House in Texas across three shows in February 2025, and the City of Encinitas summer series at Moonlight Beach in July 2022. For 2026 they nearly sold out the Winters Opera House in March and they play the Mainzer Theater in Merced on August 28. They also work the Desert Diamond Casino circuit in Arizona and the Bank of America Performing Arts Center in Thousand Oaks.
10. The Seven Wonders
Also new to this list. Out of East Rochester, New York, formed in 2017, and named after the Tango in the Night single. The demand signal is the reason they are here: their August 22, 2026 date at Harmony In The Woods in Hawley, Pennsylvania sold out, and the promoter added a second show on August 16 to cope.
They travel a long way for a regional act. City Winery in Nashville on May 31, Newlin Hall at the Norton Center for the Arts in Danville, Kentucky in April, the Hall at Bourbon Brothers in Gainesville, Georgia on September 19, and Cafe 11 in St Augustine on October 28. Adding a second date because the first one went is the clearest evidence a band is connecting that you will find anywhere.
11. Silver Springs
A New England five piece drawn entirely from the band Leaving Eden, with Eve on lead vocals alongside Alyssa Bailey White, Jake Gynan, Eric Gynan and Rick Chouinard. They released a Fleetwood Mac tribute album through Dark Star Records in November 2021, which is unusual for a tribute act and is the hardest evidence of when they got going. This page used to claim they had been performing for over fifteen years and I cannot find any source for that outside our own article, so it is gone.
They work the New England summer circuit: the Rex Theatre in Manchester, New Hampshire on July 31, 2026, Tuscan Market in Salem on July 4, the Bull and Brew in Old Orchard Beach in Maine on July 25, and a free show on the Salisbury Oceanfront Stage on August 22. Booking note: there is a second, unrelated Fleetwood Mac tribute also called Silver Springs operating out of northeast Ohio, and resellers merge the two calendars, so confirm which band you are getting.
12. Fleetwood Bac
A London five piece recreating the Rumours era lineup, and the act I owe the biggest correction to. This page used to say they were endorsed by Mick Fleetwood. Their own website says the opposite, in plain words: “We are huge fans of the Mac but are in no way affiliated, personally approved or officially endorsed by them.” That line has presumably been sitting there the whole time we were printing the other thing.
What they do have is real and worth more than a borrowed name. Bob Brunning, the original Fleetwood Mac bassist, sat in with them several times and told them he loved the show. Brunning died in 2011, so that is a piece of history rather than a current endorsement, and I will describe it as such. They sold out the Corn Exchange in Blandford Forum on August 7, 2026 and the Ropetackle Arts Centre in Shoreham on August 13, and they played the Falmouth Week waterfront marquee on August 9. Two sold out regional theatres in one week is the honest measure of them.
Which one fits your room
Book Rumours of Fleetwood Mac if you have a concert hall and want the act with the endorsement and the scale. Book Tusk if you are programming an American theatre or a state fair, because that is precisely their circuit. Book Fleetwood Mask if you want a specific tour recreated, the 1980 Tusk tour or The Dance, on gear the real band actually used. Book Rumours ATL or Tell Me Lies for a mid sized club or amphitheater, Twisted Gypsy or Gypsy Dreams for a California casino or winery, Fleetwood Macrame anywhere in the Bay Area, and Fleetwood Bac if the show is in the UK.
One booking caution that applies across this whole category. Three separate bands use the word Rumours, and they are not related: Rumours of Fleetwood Mac from Liverpool, Rumours ATL from Atlanta, and Rumours: The Ultimate from Los Angeles. Ticket aggregators mix them up regularly, and at least one site files the Liverpool band’s American dates under the Los Angeles band. Always confirm against the venue’s own page before you sign anything.
