Queen Extravaganza’s Milestone Tour
Queen’s “official tribute band”, Queen Extravaganza, is set to celebrate the 50th anniversary of “Bohemian Rhapsody” with a 2025 tour across the UK and Europe, starting at the Liverpool Empire Theatre on January 28, 2025.
The band features lead singer Nick Radcliffe, guitarists François-Olivier Doyon and Julien Pijper, keyboardist Daniel Maltz, bassist Pascal Hoff, and drummer George Farrar, all hand-picked by Roger Taylor and Brian May for their ability to replicate Queen’s music.
The show’s staging is designed by Mark Fisher, Queen’s original production designer, ensuring a visually spectacular experience that mirrors the band’s legendary live performances.
The tour begins at the Liverpool Empire Theatre, where Queen first performed “Bohemian Rhapsody” live in 1975, adding a historical layer to the celebration.

Tribute Band Competition at Ziggo Dome
The final of the Dutch TV show “The Tribute – Battle of the Bands” will see the four best tribute bands compete at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on April 17 and 18, 2025, announced on February 12, 2025.
The competition features 13 participating bands in 2025, with the top four performing at the Ziggo Dome, judged by music industry veterans including Cesar Zuiderwijk, former drummer of Golden Earring.
The winner receives a €10,000 prize, and the event is broadcast as part of a Dutch TV show, increasing its visibility and impact. The Ziggo Dome, with a capacity of around 17,000, is one of the largest indoor arenas in the Netherlands, making this a high-profile event for tribute bands.
